Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 205 °C (400 °F).
  2. Remove the sausage meat from the casings and cook it in a skillet over medium-high heat until fully cooked and nicely browned. Break it up with a wooden spoon as needed.
  3. On an oven-safe baking sheet, spread half of the tortilla chips.
  4. Sprinkle half of the cooked sausage and toppings over the chips. Repeat with the remaining ingredients to create two layers.
  5. Bake for 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and lightly golden to your liking.
  6. Top with green onions and serve with salsa or guacamole.
